This policy explains how Recycle Proline Ltd collects and uses personal data through this website, and what rights you have over that data. It applies to this website only. If you contact us by post, telephone or in person at our depot, we handle your information in the same spirit, but this page describes the website.
We keep the amount of personal data we collect to a minimum. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
The data controller is Recycle Proline Ltd, Unit 1, Gaskell Street, St Helens, Merseyside, WA9 1PX, United Kingdom.
For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights set out below, contact us:
When you use our contact form. The form asks for your first and last name, email address, telephone number (optional), the subject of your enquiry and your message. We use this only to answer you. Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
When you browse the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. This is set only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our company mailbox and read by the member of staff who handles that type of enquiry. We use the details only to reply to you and, where relevant, to arrange the service you asked about.
We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Nothing you send us is stored on this website. The contact form does not save your message to the website database — it forwards it by email and keeps no copy on the server. The only thing stored in your browser by this site is your cookie choice, so that we do not ask you again on every page.
The resulting emails are held in our company mailbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail). We review correspondence periodically and delete messages once the enquiry is closed and there is no longer a business or legal reason to keep them.
Google Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our Analytics account and is held in aggregate form; it does not identify you by name.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for marketing. Your data is handled by the following service providers acting on our behalf:
These providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. This site uses two kinds:
You can change your mind at any time: clear this site's cookies in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit, letting you choose differently. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser at any time, though some parts of the site may then work less smoothly.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@recycleproline.com or call 0151 228 5883. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection: ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.
We review this policy from time to time and will publish any changes on this page.
